Leopards are some of the stealthiest hunters on the planet, managing to avoid detection with deadly efficiency because of their spots. Along with staying quiet as they approach their prey, keeping camouflaged is one of the keys to the big cats' stalking ability. The picture below, shot by US photographer Art Wolfe, shows a leopard at the Kruger National Park, Transvaal, South Africa , which is perfectly camouflaged as it creeps through the long grass.
